“Exploring Her Limits” is an aerial kinetic connective performance inspired by “Up to and Including Her Limits” by Carolee Schneeman and is performed by Ivy Lenane and Kaylin (kkinkylips) and documented by Kerry B. This work deals with issues of the body, vulnerability, human connection, limit testing, and confrontation of the self. Ivy performs the mark making and wears the body extension sculpture, Kaylin creates the suspension of Ivy in the shibari style with jute rope, and Kerry documents the performance via still images as well as videography.
